Learn Why Apostas Online Has No Difference To Offline Gambling

m88 There is in fact no difference whatsoever when it comes to probability of winning and scams between offline casinos and online betting. In the same way you can search for the safest most legitimate online casinos to play in, and have a great time. If you entered an online casino and won a huge jackpot, would you call it a scam? No you’d be over the moon about it and be telling everyone, however if you lost a load of cash your views would change. All views and opinions come from these factors which is why there is so much varying information that goes both ways. The reason so many people have different views and opinions is all down to personal experience and close friends or families experiences.

Most peoples opinions are all down to their personal experiences and you should always remember that, the only time things change is when you know that someone has been scammed for certain as money has been stolen or deposits have gone missing, in which case you stay away from those online casinos. The only thing that is certain about gambling online and offline is that people win both ways and lose both ways, that’s how it works and that’s how it always has operated. People know that’s what they are entering into as there are no guarantees at all, you never know if you’re going to win or lose online or offline as it’s completely random.

Apostas Online is something that brings great fun to all as it allows you to experience casinos and the atmosphere they carry right from the comfort of your own home. They hear of people going online and losing bundles of cash and they think it will happen to everyone and that you can never win anything from it. Well if you think about it, the exact same thing happens offline in the real world casinos, people turn up to casinos everyday and lose bundles and bundles of cash if not more than what’s lost online. You can play all of your favourite gambling games on your favourite Apostas online websites and not have to travel anywhere, all you have to remember is that there is no scam and there is no difference in online casinos to offline casinos, it is all gambling.

Many people have won huge amounts online and lost huge amounts offline which makes them more geared towards online gambling as they’ve had much better experiences online, and the same goes the other way too as people will have won lots offline and nothing

When it comes to gambling online many people tend to keep their money in their pockets and move on, they don’t believe that it’s a legitimate hobby as they see it all as one huge scam. And do you know why this is? It’s simply and logically because it’s all gambling. You can look up the information online which will tell you the blacklisted casinos that have had dodgy occurrences, and you must stay away from them.

Internet Gambling Companies Indicted for Fraud, Money Laundering

An attorney for Elie could not be located by ABC News.

The issue of Internet gambling has been debated on Capitol Hill recently, with legislation being proposed both for and against it.

“Chad Elie … banks that prohibited them from handling financial transactions connected to online gambling. government and returned such funds to their owners. “Meanwhile, some of the poker operators themselves have claimed that U.S. who lied to United States banks about the nature of the financial transactions they were processing and covered up those lies through the creation of phony corporations and websites to disguise payments to the poker companies.”

The allegedly phony websites included online flower delivery shops and pet supply stores that would handle credit card payments to get funds from U.S. “We allege, in their zeal to circumvent the gambling laws, the defendants also engaged in massive money laundering and bank fraud.”

The indictment alleges that Elie was deeply involved in negotiating with banks to secure processing transactions. Attorney’s Office but entered into a deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. George, Utah, which allegedly processed more than $200 million for Full Tilt and PokerStars.

According to a federal indictment, the owners of the companies sought ways to get around restrictions placed on U.S. It seems clear from today’s action that the Justice Department doesn’t agree.”

Isai Scheinberg and Paul Tate of PokerStars, Scott Tom and Brent Beckley of Absolute Poker, and Raymond Bitar and Nelson Burtnick of Full Tilt Poker, the indictment claims, engaged in a scheme “to deceive United States banks and financial institutions into processing billions of dollars in payments for the poker companies, by, among other things, arranging for the money received from United States gamblers to be disguised as payments to hundreds of non-existent online merchants and other non-gambling businesses.”

The indictment alleges the poker-company owners “relied on highly compensated third party payment processors … “The defendants bet the house that they could continue their scheme, and they lost.”

Federal prosecutors and FBI agents also have obtained a district court order to block 76 bank accounts and five Internet domain names associated with the poker websites. and his associates were, however, able to persuade the principals of certain small, local banks that were facing financial difficulties to engage in such processing,” the indictment reads. PokerStars is registered in the Isle of Man, Full Tilt is registered in Ireland and Absolute Poker and its associated companies originally was founded in Costa Rica but is now registered in Antigua.

The Justice Department has filed a civil complaint for money laundering that seeks $3 billion being held by the companies. players who have accounts on the websites.

With the seizure of the websites, it is unclear what will happen to the funds of U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, where the case was filed.

Also indicted was John Campos, vice chairman of the board at SunFirst Bank, based in St. customers.

The 52-page indictment also alleges that conspirators used electronic checks to try and disguise their payments.

The indictment identifies four individuals as the payment processors — Ryan Lang, Ira Rubin, Bradley Franzen and Chad Elie.

Franzen was arrested March 16 in Chicago on a previously issued criminal complaint and is scheduled to have an arraignment in New York on Monday.

Elie was arrested in Las Vegas, where he was slated to appear before a federal magistrate. The owners and founders of the three largest online gambling sites in the United States have been indicted and charged with bank fraud, money laundering and illegal gambling offenses. gambling laws do not apply to poker.

New York prosecutors say they’ve issued restraining orders against more than 75 bank accounts in 14 countries used by the poker companies, which they say will interrupt the illegal flow of billions of dollars, according to The Associated Press.

Eleven individuals were charged over their involvement running PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker for violating the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. banks and effectively bribing others to assure the continued flow of billions in illegal gambling profits,” Bharara said in a prepared statement.

Justice Department officials said they were in contact with local law enforcement agencies in those countries and Interpol to seek their arrest.

“Foreign firms that choose to operate in the United States are not free to flout the laws they don’t like simply because they can’t bear to be parted from their profits,” said Preet Bharara, the U.S.

“Some of the defendants found banks willing to flout the law for a fee,” Janice Fedarcyk, the assistant director in charge of the FBI’s New York Field Office, said in a prepared statement.

“This is a potentially game-changing moment for the online poker industry, as PokerStars and Full Tilt are, by quite some distance, the two largest operators not just in the U.S., but globally,” James Kilsby, Americas editor with the business intelligence service GamblingCompliance, told ABC News.

“Previous DOJ enforcement efforts have honed in on sports betting operators and payment companies,” Kilsby said. In 2007, NETELLER, a firm that handled online gambling transactions, was charged by prosecutors from the New York U.S. George, Utah.

Members of the conspiracy allegedly agreed to invest $10 million in SunFirst, which gave them a 30 percent stake in the bank, according to the indictment. Sports Betting Could Soon Come Online in New Jersey

The proceedings will most likely take place in February, with the panel expected to release its verdict in the weeks following.

Should it came back in favor of the state, New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement Director David Rebuck says the next step would be to bring the practice online.

We were advised a while back that the Third Circuit will hear the case en banc, Rebuck told Gambling Insider this week. sports betting New Jersey DGE online New Jersey Assemblyman Ralph Caputo is adamant that the survival of Atlantic City depends on sports betting gaining legalization. (Image:

Sports betting in New Jersey will have its day in court sometime in February when the United States Court of Appeals for the Third District holds an en banc hearing to determine whether the state has the right to authorize the industry.

The Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA) outlawed sports betting nationwide except in a handful of states that today is predominantly limited to Nevada.

New Jersey opted to change that, residents voting in favor of sports gambling in 2011.

The states legislature passed a bill with Governor Chris Christie authorizing the law in October of 2012, but since then the measure has sat idle in the courts as the NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL filed a collective lawsuit against the Garden State.

Two federal rulings have sided with the sports leagues, however New Jersey received a much-needed lifeline last month when the Third District agreed to reexamine the case.

Verdict ImplicationsThe en banc hearing will bring the majority of the Third Circuit to listen to arguments on New Jersey authorizing sports wagering. That is probably the first time that we had a small victory in our efforts to date.

If we win that change the sports wagering prohibition to allow for sports wagering to be performed on the Internet, Rebuck said.

Providing New Jerseyans the ability to place bets on sporting events online would surely bring substantial new revenues to the Internet casino operators and deliver the subsequent tax revenues to Trenton.

Saving Atlantic CityLawmakers are banking on sports betting as Atlantic Citys saving grace. Casino companies are in favor of payment-in-lieu-of-taxes moving forward to help them offset their properties continued devaluation as gaming revenues unrelentingly decline.

. This is an opportunity to kick-start this industry in a way that is unprecedented along the East Coast Sports betting has the potential to be an economic game-changer.

In the meantime, local politicians in Atlantic City are looking for ways to fund the town as vacant and bankrupt casinos continue to fail on paying their obligated property taxes. The east coast casino destination has been hurt by nearby states legalizing land-based gambling over the last decade leading to a long and slow death of the resort city.

We are in desperate need of innovative ideas to combat the continued downturn in New Jerseys gaming industry in both Atlantic City and at our racetracks, Assemblyman Ralph Caputo (D-District 28) said last year

U.S. Treasury warns casinos on illegal sports betting | Reuters

24. The letter was dated Dec. The letter with guidance for casinos from Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) came in response to a Dec. The AGA, citing the Thomson Reuters article, had asked FinCEN about its plans to issue guidance.

FinCEN noted that prior to the news of its planned guidance, it had been “planning on communicating to the casino industry directly with respect to a particular concern in this regard.”

“In these cases, the intermediaries rarely voluntarily disclose to the casino that a transaction is being conducted on behalf of a third party, thereby disguising the third party’s role in the transaction and obscuring the source of funds used to place the bet. National Football League’s Super Bowl on Feb. 1 yields one of the busiest sports book weekends of the year.

The FinCEN letter was addressed to the president of the American Gaming Association (AGA), the trade group for the U.S. casino industry. However, illegal sports betting operations around the world, including online outfits, sometimes offset bets they receive by placing casino wagers, law enforcement sources told Thomson Reuters. states including Nevada, home of Las Vegas. LOUIS U.S. The report urged governments to correct what it called a vulnerability of sport betting to organized crime.

Regulators and law enforcement authorities are concerned by intelligence suggesting that criminals are making bets with legal sports book operations, using intermediaries, or “runners,” to place bets, the Treasury bureau said.

Runners have been known to loiter at casinos, keeping numerous mobile phones and tablets near them to receive orders from illegal gambling rings.

Freeman said the risk of money laundering “is far greater in the vast, unregulated, illegal sports betting market than in the highly regulated, legal gaming industry. . 22 Thomson Reuters article, which said the department was likely to press casinos to take a greater role in fighting illegal sport book activity.

The global International Centre for Sport Security reported last year that 80 percent of global sport betting is illegally transacted, and therefore invisible to authorities.

The letter reminds casinos that the Bank Secrecy Act requires them to ask gamblers whether their bets are for themselves, and to report any wagers for third parties as suspicious activity. It said $140 billion is laundered annually through sport betting. casinos must take steps to combat illegal sports gambling, the Treasury Department has told an industry group in a letter that came just weeks before the Super Bowl, one of the biggest betting events of the year.

(Reporting by Brett Wolf of the Compliance Compelete service of Thomson Reuters Accelus, Editing by Randall Mikkelsen and David Gregorio)

“Increases in sports betting conducted on behalf of third parties are facilitating criminal activity and posing a money laundering risk to the U.S financial system,” the Treasury said in a letter made public on Friday. This poses distinct money laundering risks for casinos,” FinCEN said in the letter.

Sports gambling is legal in only four U.S.

“While casinos routinely look for suspicious bets at sports books and have worked with law enforcement to identify illegal activity, in some cases leading to criminal convictions, no such oversight exists for the illegal sports betting market,” he said.

The U.S. The letter also reminds casinos that they must take a risk-based approach to compliance, focusing on gaming that presents the greatest money laundering threat.

In a statement responding to FinCEN’s letter on Friday, AGA President and Chief Executive Officer Geoff Freeman said the group “welcomes continued guidance from FinCEN.” He added that “members are committed to robust anti-money laundering measures” and that they “invest significant resources to tailor risk-based compliance programs for every corner of the casino, including sports books.”

Ladbrokes Fined, Sportsbet Shamed over Betting Ads

November 17, 2015

australia-ladbrokes-sportsbet-advertisingAustralian online sports betting companies are finding out that they need to be very careful how they advertise. The ads in question offered existing customers or new sign-ups the chance to win free bets of up to $1k per day. Deputy Premier and Justice Minister Troy Grant said operators have been warned that OLGR was monitoring all mediums for signs of transgressions and wouldnt hesitate to take operators to the woodshed. Spring it on! after which Sportsbets Cox Plate Day betting offers appeared on screen. SPORTSBET TOLD MELANOMA IS NO JOKING MATTER

Meanwhile, Australias Advertising Standards Board (ASB) has spanked Paddy Powers Aussie offshoot Sportsbet over a TV ad that some viewers found to be an irresponsible treatment of Australias growing skin cancer epidemic.

NSW recently expanded its anti-inducement laws to include any kind of published inducement, including via social media. .

The ad in question featured a man at a horserace with a heavily sunburnt face except for a pale sunglassed-shaped outline around his eyes. A voiceover accompanying this image said: Dont worry, thats only second degree.

A viewer who claimed to be a melanoma survivor complained to the ASB that the ad was offensive for making light of such a severe sunburn.

Under NSWs Racing Administration Regulation 2012, betting operators are prohibited from advertising any credit, voucher or reward as an inducement to gamble with a particular site, with a maximum fine of $5,500 per incident. A few months ago, OLGR scored two other successful prosecutions involving similar violations by and ClassicBet Paty Ltd.

The ASB didnt buy Sportsbets reasoning, saying the ad sent the wrong message in relation to sun safety because the use of the imagery of the sunburnt man is not clear and the voiceover amount[s] to a suggestion that people dont need to take skin protection seriously. The ad has already been withdrawn from the airwaves and Sportsbet has agreed not to run it again. Sportsbet defended the ad as clearly intended to be treated in a light-hearted manner and said the depicted scenario did not in any way suggest that people should not take sunburn seriously.

The NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) took Ladbrokes to court over three adverts featured on the companys website between April 2 and May 29.

Last week, Ladbrokes Digital Australia war ordered to pay a fine of $7,500 plus $18k in court costs after the company was found guilty of illegal advertising for offering inducements to punters in the state of New South Wales
